Hello, Scott here. I was born some years back and realized that the Earth was my actual home and not just some state or country. I have had a few careers which include culinary, pro sports and the corporate world. Raised 2 wonderful kids and now Erin and I have fled to places nearer the Equator (Southwest U.S.) to be nearer the sun.

You will get to know me more as this site develops and I add personal items to the blog.

Neil Arnott

I am a born and bred country boy. I was raised in a farming family just south of Edinburgh, Scotland.

I took over the reins of the business from my father in 1981 and farmed the land successfully for a further 7 years making profits against the trend of farming in general at the time.

I started with computers back in the days of PET and Tandy TRS 80 PCs. Much has changed since the late 1970s, when mobile devices were the stuff of Star Trek. It was not till the the late 80s that i had mu first mobile phone…battery pack was the size of a portable type writer. All it did was make and receive calls.

Over the years I have built and restored personal computers and servers, left the farm and worked in the IT industry where I was working in installation and maintainance of desktop PCs and servers for several major companies in the central belt of Scotland.

I hope you enjoy the presentation of the material on this site and look forward to any feedback or questions you may have.
